I’m thrilled to share some free amigurumi models with you! In this post, I’ll guide you through creating a charming amigurumi figure. At the end of the article, you’ll find detailed construction patterns for the model.

Materials Needed

  • Himalaya Velvet Orange Yarn: 1 skein
  • Himalaya Velvet Black Yarn: 1 skein
  • Himalaya Velvet White Yarn: 1 skein
  • Crochet Hook Size: 3.0 mm
  • Safety Eyes: 12 mm (14, 16, or 18 mm can be used)
  • Sewing Thread: Thin thread for assembling parts
  • Embroidery Threads: Black and white for detailing
  • Sewing Needle and Scissors
  • Fiberfill: For stuffing

Change to Orange Yarn:

  1. Rnd 8: 4 sc, (1 sc, 1 dec) × 6, 4 sc. [18]

  3. Rnd 10-17: 16 sc (8 rows).
  4. Rnd 18: 1 sc, fold the top opening flat, and make 8 sc across both sides. Fill with fiberfill, leaving yarn for sewing.

Arms (Make 2)

Start with White Yarn:

  1. Rnd 1: 6 sc in MR.
  2. Rnd 2: (1 inc) × 6. [12]
  3. Rnd 3: (1 sc, 1 inc) × 6. [18]
  4. Rnd 4-5: 18 sc (2 rows).

Change to Orange Yarn:

  3. Rnd 17: 1 sc, fold the top opening flat, and make 6 sc across both sides. Fill with fiberfill, leaving yarn for sewing.

Nose

Using Black Yarn:

  1. Rnd 1: 3 sc in MR, ch, turn.
  2. Rnd 2: 3 inc, ch, turn. [6]
  3. Rnd 3: 1 inc, 4 sc, 1 inc, ch, turn. [8]
  4. Rnd 4: BLO 8 sc, ch, turn. [8]
  5. Rnd 5: 8 sc, leave yarn attached for sewing the muzzle.

Ears (Make 2)

Start with White Yarn:

  3. Do not break off the yarn.

Change to Orange Yarn:

Using Black Thread:

  • Crochet the edges of the ear: 4 sc, 3 inc, 4 sc. Leave yarn for sewing and bend slightly.

Tail

Finish off, leaving yarn for sewing the head. Fill with fiberfill.

Assembly

  1. Eye Tightening: Introduce the yarn from the bottom of the head.
  2. Sew the Ears: Attach them 14 rows down from the head, with 9 sc between them.
  3. Sew on the Nose: Position it and shape the mouth.
  4. Embroider the Eyebrows: Add details with white thread for the eyes.
  5. Attach the Head to the Body: If needed, add filler to the neck.
  6. Embroider Stripes: Use black plush thread on the face.
  7. Add Details: Use black thread for the arms, legs, and muzzle.
